We had an incredibly positive experience during such a difficult time. Jodi was kind, professional, and very knowledgeable. She came to our home and walked us through all of the next steps with compassion. She always answered emails promptly, and the use of DocuSign meant we didn’t have to leave our home, which was a huge relief. We are very grateful for the care and respect shown to our family and to our Dad. Thank you Jodi from all us.

Jodi and Compassionate Cremation was such an incredible support during a very difficult time. She was prompt, thoughtful, and decisive, right when one needed all of those things. Such an affordable service with no corners cut. I paid more for another family member’s cremation over five years ago, and received less touch points and care back then. Cannot recommend Jodi and the team enough!

Could not have handled this without having them at my side. Jodi went over and above to help us. We lost our son and Lord knows that is hard enough without having extenuating circumstances which we had. They were able to take care of everything and I'm so thankful. Thank you again........you're awesome.

Jodi was amazing in helping me through this process. I live out of the country and she helped me through this process. I don’t know what I would have done without her help! ...She was very supportive and responded to my calls quickly. I was completely devastated and confused, but she patiently guided me through the process. Also, she arranged and had staff deliver my husband’s ash[es] in person. I was very touched by that.

The Incredible Value of Estate Support

Most funeral homes don’t tell you that many executors may spend 300–600 hours closing an estate.

Your service with us includes Cadence Executor Assistant — a much-needed tool that simplifies forms, tasks, and timelines. It’s free with every cremation. This alone saves you months of paperwork and countless hours of stress.

FAQs
What is included in your cremation service?
Our standard cremation includes transportation, necessary paperwork, cremation, and return of the ashes, along with a death certificate.
Do I have to purchase an urn through you?
Not at all. We provide a temporary urn at no cost. During the checkout process, you’re welcome to choose a special urn if you wish.
Who can legally sign the cremation contract?
According to BC law, only the executor named in the will can authorize cremation (if there is no will, then the person closest in legal relation). Contact us to determine whether you are the authorized person to sign for the cremation, as per section 5 of the CIFSA.
Can I witness the cremation?
Yes. We offer a witnessed cremation option for those who wish to be present for an extra charge.
